Terms and conditions

Last updated: Saturday, April 25, 2026

1. Who we are

Citauno is a platform operated in the Republic of Paraguay that connects clients with service businesses (salons, barbershops, spas, manicure, massage, beauty centers, tattoo, makeup, wellness and similar) to facilitate online bookings, schedule management and, where applicable, online payments through Bancard.

By accessing or using citauno.com (the "Platform") you accept these Terms and Conditions. If you don't agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Definitions

  • Client: a person who books a service through the Platform.
  • Business: a natural or legal person that offers services and publishes their schedule.
  • Booking: direct contract between a Client and a Business facilitated by the Platform.
  • Plan: monthly subscription contracted by a Business to use Platform features.

3. Accounts

To book or publish services you need to create an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of your data, for keeping your password confidential and for all activity carried out from your account. You can sign in with email + password or with your Google account.

Citauno may suspend or close accounts that use the Platform fraudulently, harm other users or breach these Terms.

4. Nature of the service

Citauno acts solely as a technological intermediary. The contract for the service (haircut, massage, manicure, etc.) is entered into directly between the Client and the Business. Citauno does not provide the listed services, does not guarantee their quality, is not the employer of the professionals, and is not responsible for damages arising from the execution of the booked service.

5. Bookings, cancellations and no-shows

Each Business sets its own cancellation policy, minimum notice window, deposit requirement and confirmation mode (automatic, manual or with prepayment). The Client must review the policy published in the Business profile before confirming the booking.

Cancellations by the Client are governed by the Business policy. Cancellations by the Business (force majeure, professional absence, etc.) may give the right to reschedule or, if applicable, refund of any deposit paid online.

Citauno sends automatic reminders to the Client. No-shows without prior notice may affect the Client's reputation on the Platform and, depending on the Business policy, lead to forfeiting the deposit.

6. Online payments

When a Business accepts online payment, payments are processed by Bancard via the vPOS channel. Citauno does not store full card data: sensitive information is handled exclusively by the gateway under PCI-DSS standards. Refunds, chargebacks and disputes are governed by Bancard rules and the Business policy.

7. Plans for businesses

Citauno offers plans (Free, Starter, Pro, Premium) with different features, limits and modules. Paid plans are billed in advance in Paraguayan guaraníes (Gs.) and renew automatically at the end of each period until the Business cancels from its dashboard.

The Business may switch plans or cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billed period; unused days are not refunded, unless required by applicable law. Citauno may modify plan prices or features with at least 30 days notice to subscribed Businesses.

8. Reviews

Only Clients with a completed booking may leave a review about the Business. Reviews must be truthful, contain no insults, no third-party personal data, and no defamatory or illegal content. Citauno may moderate, hide or delete reviews that breach these rules.

9. Business content

The Business is responsible for the content it publishes (descriptions, images, prices, hours, policies, professional details). It warrants having the rights to publish it and indemnifies Citauno against third-party claims related to such content.

By publishing content on the Platform, the Business grants Citauno a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display it on the Platform, in its marketing and in search engines (SEO).

10. Prohibited conduct

  • Use the Platform for illegal purposes or to harm third parties.
  • Publish false, illegal or misleading services.
  • Circumvent payment or booking features by coordinating outside the Platform with the goal of evading commission or the contracted plan.
  • Scrape, reverse engineer or perform unauthorized automated use.
  • Impersonate others, create fake accounts or use the Platform to send spam.

11. Intellectual property

The name "Citauno", the logo, interface, code and documentation are owned by Citauno or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer any intellectual property right to the Client or the Business, except limited and revocable use of the Platform.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Citauno is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, loss of customers or data loss arising from use of the Platform. Citauno's total liability to the Business is limited to the amount actually paid by the Business under its plan in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. With respect to Clients, Citauno does not charge for use of the Platform and assumes no liability for the Business' service delivery.

13. Modifications

Citauno may update these Terms. Changes take effect upon publication on this page. If changes are material, we will notify affected users by email. Continued use of the Platform after the update implies acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Paraguay. Any dispute will be resolved before the ordinary courts of the city of Asunción, unless mandatory law dictates otherwise.
